Art of Gold Dress

A single piece that reads as two. The bodice is worked in gold sunburst lace — concentric rays radiating outward in tight repetition against black. Below the waist it drops into black sequins, a column of dark shimmer that catches light in flashes rather than all at once.

Sleeveless, high round neckline, clean shoulder line. Fitted through the torso with a back zipper closure. The skirt falls to a short hem with a subtle slit at the side seam.

The contrast is the whole point: gilded above, shadowed below. Radiant and restrained in the same breath.
